Before, I was not confident about my numbers. Now I'm confident they are wrong and need to be fixed.

Early Traction.

$150,000
Capital secured, contract retained

An electrical contractor was about to lose its first New York State contract for lack of mobilization capital. M2M's Scaffolding Services produced clean books, and M2M's Network Connections facilitated the introduction to a lender. Loan approved, $305,000 contract retained, and two electrical jobs retained.

$3M / $6M
Bonding opened

An HVAC contractor had never pursued surety — the books couldn't support the review. M2M's Break Fix Services cleaned up the books. Bonding was closed to the business before that; it's open now.

$40,000
Stalled receivable released

A painting subcontractor had waited ten months on an invoice — no leverage over its prime, no line to the institution that owned the job. M2M's Network Connections had that relationship and advocated until it was paid. The $40,000 became 30% of the mobilization capital for its next project, and that company is now a prime on a state DOT contract.

Why we're called The M2M Project.

In New York City, immigrants, women, veterans, and people of color collectively are the majority of the population — but their representation in business ownership gets smaller as business size grows.

M2M envisions a NYC where that is reversed and historically excluded communities can leverage their business to achieve financial stability and long-term mobility.
